Sabinsa Announces Resignation of President And Chief Operating Officer Todd Norton

Sabinsa Corporation today announced Selenium SeLECT®, the company's branded L-(+)-Selenomethionine compound and the most bioavailable, pure and safe form of selenium, received GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) designation after an intensive review of safety and toxicology data by an independent panel of respected scientists assembled by Soni & Associates, Inc. This GRAS status allows for Selenium SeLECT® to be used in a variety of food and beverage applications including yogurt, flavored milk, pudding, bread, cookies, pasta, cereal, oils, candies, water, beverages, tea, herbs and other natural blends.

"We sincerely appreciate Todd's 14 years of service at Sabinsa. During his tenure he was integral in growing our U.S. operations and educating the industry about our science-backed ingredients. We wish him the best as he pursues new opportunities," said Muhammed Majeed, founder and CEO, Sabinsa Corporation. "Sabinsa will continue to provide the same quality product offerings and outstanding service that our customers have come to expect."
