Sabinsa Continues Donation Efforts In Japan

Sabinsa has donated ¥1,500,000 to the Asahi Shimbun Social Welfare Organization to benefit children who lost their parents in the earthquake and tsunami in Japan on March 11, 2011. The amounts to be given to children vary depending on ages, and will be used for support and education.

Sabinsa also donated ¥1,000,000 to the Japan Red Cross in May.

"While all of our hearts go out to the people of Japan as they continue to try to put their lives back together, we wanted to do more," said Sabinsa founder Dr. Muhammed Majeed. "While these children's lives will never be the same, if we can help them get an education, their odds of going on to have productive and meaningful lives are increased exponentially."
