Dr. Muhammed Majeed, Founder and Chairman, Sami-Sabinsa Group was honored with a lifetime achievement award in recognition of his exemplary services in the nutraceuticals and cosmeceuticals industry by ASSOCHAM (The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India). The award was presented as part of Ayush Mela, one of India’s largest exhibition and conference events related to Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy (AYUSH).

ASSOCHAM received more than 150 nominations across 34 categories of awards covering various fields of AYUSH, out of which 75 nominations were short listed across different categories. The awardees were selected by a jury of prominent people affiliated with the AYUSH fields.

The Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), is a 99-year old organization of over 400 Chambers of Commerce and Trade Associations serving more than 450,000 members across India. The organization represents the interests of trade and commerce in India, and acts as an interface between issues and initiatives.
